Many families faced with the hardships of dealing with a transplant experience great physical, emotional, and financial struggles. The Tri-State Transplant Support Group strives to provide its members with relief and support during these trying times.
MEMBERSHIP in the Tri-State Transplant Support Group is open to all pre- or post-operative transplant patients and their families. There are no membership dues. We operate solely on donated funds.
Our November speaker was Dawn Benjamin from Tennessee Donor Services. Dawn explained the sequence of events from the time a person is in brain death until the transplant has been completed.
Previously Dawn Benjamin of Tennessee Donor Services provided us with some forms that might be helpful to recipients who want to write a thank you letter to their donor family.
